Website Hosting
What Is It?
Website hosting is the location where the files for your website (and database if using Wordpress website) are stored online and where your emails are processed. If you have already looked at finding a company to host your website, you will no doubt have discovered that there are literally hundreds of thousands of different options.
I started out offering web hosting to my clients because I was becoming increasingly frustrated with many of the popular large hosting companies who are difficult to get hold of and very impersonal. Ten years on and I now host nearly two hundred websites for local as well as international clients.
Why Do You Need It?
Having secure, reliable and stable web hosting is paramount to the success of your website. Poor website performance caused by a slow or unreliable server can negatively impact your search engine ranking, and potentially cost your business sales, customers and a good reputation. Equally, having an unreliable email system can result in customers not receiving your messages, new enquiries not arriving and a lot of frustration.
I offer joint email and website hosting packages, as well as individual services should you wish to use a third party provider for one service (such as Gmail, Office 365 or Microsoft Exchange for emails).
How Much Does It Cost?
Packages start from £120/year for a standard hosting account and SSL certificate with 5GB of disk space and 50GB/month bandwidth, but I also offer flexible packages to meet a variety of requirements when necessary. In addition, I provide a free website migration service to get your website moved across onto my server smoothly.
Website hosting can also be included as part of my monthly management packages so you only have a single monthly fee that will cover all your annual service renewals.
If you'd like to discuss getting a web hosting package setup, or moving your website to my server, then please fill out the form on this page and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
