How Much Does Web Hosting Cost?

Website hosting can cost very different amounts depending on the type of site you're running and how much help you need. A small brochure website has different requirements from a busy online shop, and fully managed hosting usually includes more than simply keeping your files online.

The most useful comparison is what's actually included — such as backups, updates, security and technical support — rather than the headline price alone.

My website hosting starts at £120 per year. If you’d like more ongoing help, website support packages are available for £300 or £600 per year, depending on the agreed level of service. I’ll confirm exactly what’s included and whether any additional services are needed.

Remember that domain registration, email services and website maintenance may be priced separately. It’s worth comparing the actual service and support provided, not just the lowest monthly figure.
